Here at Hands of Hope, we see the value in everyone. Our mission is to empower youth affected by adversity (ACEs/Adverse Childhood Experiences) to build hope for a brighter future. We want to be a catalyst for positive change and bring hope to every space. Our founder grew up in an untraditional family background, and as a result was personally affected by multiple traumatic ACEs, socioeconomic barriers, and severe bullying. Turning pain into purpose, Hands of Hope was created to directly serve today’s youth, teaching that hope is truly in our hands. We operate on a threefold approach of communal, educational, and congressional. We offer direct community mentorship for today’s youth through interpersonal skills development, emotional support, and financial literacy. We raise awareness against all forms of abuse: verbal, emotional, and physical, through our school education programs. In addition, we are instilling confidence and educating today’s youth on the importance of goal-setting through our school curriculum, fundraisers, seminars, partnerships, and more! Hands of Hope collaborates with other leading organizations by implementing our resources to expand our impact. Current collaborators include: Girl Scouts, Girl Guides, Girls Inc, MBK Cares, and Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Our main focus is to bring awareness while instilling self-love & HOPE nationwide!
